WARRIORS AND TITANS TRYOUTS

EJ Sports is a baseball development company that believes in training its player to help transition each player to the next level of their game. The key to a players success is game awareness, confidence, development of skills, overall baseball philosophy, mental conditioning, leadership and life skills.  Our program has dedicated activities that puts these essential tools in place to provide each player with an opportunity to grow as an athlete, student and good standing member of the community.

The Titans program is our transitional team comprised of two separate teams for 7th grade, 8th grade. At this level we focus on progression of athletic fundamentals of baseball, reinforcing the mental component of the game, implementation of  consistent conditioning as well as implementation and execution of on field verbal commands between players and more.

Situational play and applying the skills learned is a strong aspect of developing the team concept at this age. These players are introduced to consistent workout routines to begin a regimented plan for baseball activity as individuals as well as a team.

At this level we continue to track personal strengths and evaluate players capacity for specialized play and encourage players to take responsibility to track their improvements. We introduce the concept of individual and team leadership, life skills, personal responsibility and playing together as a strong team. This team participates in both local and national tournaments.

This tryout includes training over the course of 2 days.

The Warriors program is our highest level of athletics. The Warriors program has a team for Freshman, Sophomore, Juniors and Seniors. At this level players have advanced into their respective positions while honing their skills to reach their next level of potential as an athlete. Strong situational play and field communication skills have been developed for those who have progressed from the Titans team and on to the Warriors program.

The next level of confidence building in athleticism and mindset training is fostered to enable players to continue building competence and internalizing success. We focus on customized skill development for each player while maintaining a strategic development plan for each team. We track the players growth for continued up leveling of athleticism so they can be prepared for college level play. We encourage and develop overall athleticism , a passion to play, knowledge of the game, development of all 5 tools plus mindset strength, mental toughness, self motivated play, playing on your athletic edge, self discipline, commitment to systematic process of compounded practice and most of all passion to play.

What playing year is this for?

This playing season is for year 2019- 2020. This tryout is for players looking for a club team to help them grow and develop in to a well rounded ball player and person.

Will there be makeup days?

We will not have makeup days or special tryout times for those who miss days or cannot make the assigned days of the tryouts. Please respect our rules.

What should my son or daughter expect at tryouts?

What to expect at tryout:

3. Catcher pop up times from home to 2^nd and to 3^rd

7. Double barrel live hitting practice
