It’s your Junior year and the pressure is on for submitting to college, to play your best and academically continue to achieve. This is considered to be one of the most stressful times of your high school experience. But you are not alone. There are other student athletes exactly like you who have gone before you to achieve their dreams using our system.

What you must know is this:

There will never be more time.

There will never be an easy way.

Colleges don’t just discover you because YOU think you are great.

Amazon Prime will not deliver you acceptance letter just because your credit card is on file.

You don’t have to navigate this frustrating process alone.

The recruiting process for an athlete can be a confusing and frustrating experience if you have not gone through the process. Many parents and athletes make common mistakes that can be avoided if they have the right information. Some people believe they can navigate the process and don’t need help, but most end up running into a problem and can’t figure out what to do next.

Our recruiting seminars are set up to help you navigate for your current grade year so you know specifically what to do, how to do it and when to do it. You are given a roadmap for the next 12 months to help you properly navigate the tricky situations regarding recruiting.

Our programs have helped over one thousand athletes get to the next level of their athletic experience. We endeavor to help athletes get the knowledge they need to be prepared for the upcoming opportunities.

 

The recruiting seminar will help you do the following things:

-Determine your priorities
-Learn what you need to do over the next 12 months for the recruiting process
-Role of the athlete
-How your parent’s can support you in the process
-Information about student athlete responsibilities
-Establishing contact with coaches
-Knowing when a coach is legally allowed to speak with you and when he can’t respond
-Knowing what to say and what questions are crucial to ask
-Knowing when your parent’s should actually speak to a coach and when it will ruin your chances.
-Choosing the right college to meet your needs
-What the different divisions (D1, D2, D3, JuCo, NAIA) mean as an athlete and how it applies to you
-What makes a good college program and why you should care
-The camps colleges recruit from
-Determining which showcase or camp you should attend
-How to determine if you are being recruited

 

Get the action items and road map you need to know to get where you want to be. This session includes a workbook, templates and timeline overview. This is your opportunity for a Question and Answer session regarding recruiting with Erik Johnson. There will not be additional open time slots for casual recruiting conversations with Erik during the season. This is a great chance to learn, discuss and discover what you should do to seize the best possible outcome for your student athlete.

Who can attend?
This session is for 1 parent and 1 child. Exclusive to the same family. (30 people total only)

Should my child attend?
Yes. In order for both parent’s and players to understand their role in the process both parents and players should attend together. However if this is not possible please inform us as soon as possible. email info at ejsports.com

Is it too late to start the process?
No, it isn’t too late to start the process as a Junior. But realize that Freshman and Sophomores have already begun this process. Starting now will improve your chances of getting clear on where you fit both academically and athletically. Our statistics have shown that the earlier you start the recruiting process the better your results are for your future. You may have a little more work but it can absolutely be achievable.

What should I bring?
Please bring a notebook or paper, pen, and any prepared questions you may have.
